DAY TRAINING

  • The biggest difference between board and train and day training is time. When your dog is in a board and train program, we are often training first thing in the morning right up to the final walk of the night. We see the fastest results with a board and train program. The skills learned in a 2-week board and train may take 1-2 months to learn in a day training envionement.

  • During your dog’s stay he/she will stay at our facility in Fort Myers. When not training all dogs are in one of the segregated kennel rooms for comfort, safety & security reasons. This also doubles as part of crate training.

  • Our team comprises both trainers and dog walkers, all of whom play a role in your pet's training. The purpose behind involving multiple people is to ensure that your dog responds and cooperates with everyone. This encourages a broader sense of confidence and adaptability rather than being limited to a specific group of individuals.

  • Your dogs day starts consists of training sessions, play, and socialization. Training is tailored to fit the dogs individual needs and can include indoor and outdoor time. Outings can include walks in the park, pool time at Aunt Dawn’s personal home, or trips to dog-friendly stores or local restaurants.

  • At the end of your day training package, you receive a free one-on-one lesson to help ensure your understanding of the training. While your dog is in training, you’re encouraged to watch our training videos so you can learn the same words, commands, and signals.
